Job Summary:

The Village Law Firm is seeking a highly-organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and providing exceptional service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, answering phones, proofreading documents, scheduling client meetings, and providing general in-office support.

Responsibilities:

Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate team members.

Scanning, copying, and mailing documents.

Witnessing client document signings.

Proofreading legal documents to ensure accuracy.

Scheduling and coordinating client meetings, both in-person and virtually.

Assisting attorneys and paralegals with document preparation and case management.

Organizing and maintaining client files and records in accordance with firm policies.

Requirements

· 2+ years in an administrative support or equivalent experience.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Highly organized and accustomed to working under deadlines

· Experience with working as part of a team to complete projects

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word

· Technologically savvy and able to learn new software programs quickly.

· Perfect English and impeccable grammar

· Warm, professional demeanor and presentation.

· Excellent interpersonal skills
