Summary:The Assistant Clinical Director (ACD) is responsible for providing direct clinical supervision to clinical staff within the division's Article 31 licensed outpatient mental health or Part 822 licensed OASAS clinic programs. The ACD ensures clinicians meet agency expectations and best practice standards.We Offer: Medical/Dental/Vision InsuranceGenerous Paid Time Off401k Pension and Employer ContributionFlexible Spending and Commuter Benefits AccountsEmployer paid short-term & long-term disability, life and AD&D insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramResponsibilities:Reviews and approves on diagnosis-based progress notes, treatment plans and assessments for a team of 15-20 cliniciansProvide clinical supervision to assigned clinicians ensuring client care is consistent with standards of best practice and meets principles of social work/therapeutic practice.Assesses and addresses teams' clinical competence via methods including, but not limited to, chart reviews, participation in clinical sessions, tracking and trending of patterns of non-compliance with best practice standards;Enhance best practice through various methods including, but not limited to, discussion of findings, case conferences, clinical consultations meetings, debriefings, etc.Maintains clinical supervision logs to ensure appropriate clinical supervision is provided.Assigns caseloads appropriate to staff's expertise, experience and qualificationsCooperate and assist with incident management requirements, UR/UM and other quality assurance and CQI expectations, including audit and review preparationEnsure compliance with clinical documentation standards and regulations via regular case and documentation reviewsProvides coverage for team members as necessary, including Open Access and administrative site coverageSupervise and participate in student intern program, as llaborate with Director of Clinical Best Practice to assess and inform training and development needs of staff and practiceFunction as lead in targeted tracks/programs within the program in collaboration with peers across other sitesSupervisors will provide in-person supervisory coverage for staff and urgent facility matters for the site location(s) they are assigned to.Perform other related duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities:Manages the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Program/Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the agency policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include on/offboarding, case assignment and transfers, accountability and commendations, performance reviews and resolutions of concerns.Minimum Qualifications:NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker.2-5 years of social work experience.Strong management and leadership skills.Excellent communication skills.Aptitude for training staff.
