About the Role

In this crucial role, you will become the go-to expert in our store's operational processes. You will supervise daily operations while collaborating with and leading associates to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include training, coaching, and developing your team members while executing operational tasks effectively.

What You'll Do:

  • Implement robust operational processes, including freight unloading, receiving and processing products, stockroom management, and omni-channel fulfillment.
  • Enhance inventory accuracy by completing all required merchandise disposition practices timely and accurately.
  • Ensure optimal product levels on the sales floor by managing incoming freight, maintaining an organized stockroom, and directing floor replenishment based on sales trends and seasonal changes.
  • Facilitate training for new operations team members, focusing on best practices, inventory procedures, productivity standards, and the use of company tools and resources.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising team to effectively manage incoming products, ensuring proper placement and compliance with brand standards.

As a Supervisor at Kohl's, you will also be responsible for:

  • Leading with integrity and honesty while promoting teamwork in an inclusive culture.
  • Exercising sound judgment and involving appropriate partners when needed.
  • Modeling and guiding associates in delivering excellent customer service, including anticipating customer needs and resolving issues.
  • Upholding strong operational standards, mitigating loss, and maintaining merchandising presentation with accurate pricing and proper signage.
  • Educating associates on loss prevention strategies and monitoring daily store activities to safeguard products.
  • Adapting resources according to customer needs and workload demands when directed by store leadership.
  • Utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to make informed decisions that enhance overall store performance.
  • Managing multiple tasks effectively within established timeframes.
  • Enforcing company policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety protocols to protect both associates and customers.
  • Executing key holder responsibilities, including opening and closing store procedures, and directing associates.
  • Assuming additional responsibilities as assigned.

What Skills You Have:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience supervising teams or associates, with a focus on coaching to meet daily goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred:

  • 2 years of experience in retail or a similar industry.
