The Caseworker/ Program Facilitator works for the success of The Salvation Army Tamaqua Service Center by developing and maintaining the seasonal and ongoing programs of the Salvation Army and fostering good relations with volunteers and other community agencies in Tamaqua Service Center assigned ZIP codes. Description of Position: Oversee, run, and maintain all current social service programs of The Salvation Army through The Tamaqua Service Center, such as emergency assistance, food pantry coordination, and seasonal programs. Provide intake, and grant or deny emergency assistance, and provide referral services for clients in Service Extension zip codes in Schuylkill County and Lanford area of Carbon County. Organize and coordinate seasonal programs and create others as needed or prompted:Camp. Back-to-School Program. Seasonal Food Drives and Distributions. Easter community program & gifts.
