  • Coordinate the training of new hires and experienced team members to increase efficiencies and productivity.
  • Lead the plant training program by maintaining training plans and schedules for hourly employees.
  • Identify skills and knowledge gaps that need to be addressed among all hourly employees within the department.
  • Observe and evaluate designated trainers to ensure effective execution of training process and training delivery.
  • Collaborate with plant leaders and HR to identify training needs and create development plans for teams and individuals.
  • Champion company initiatives and systems roll outs by educating and training employees within the department.
  • Assess training effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs.
  • Gather feedback from Trainers and Trainees to evaluate training processes and effectiveness.
  • Provide Operational support as needed.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience required in Manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklift.
  • Ability to operate independently required.
  • Must be able to work overtime and flexible work hours as needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal relation skills required.
  • A general understanding of the operational process a plus.
  • Willingness to participate in continuous learning initiatives.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate leadership and decision-making skills to logically solve operational decisions and efficiently address issues as they arise.
  • Must have basic math skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Must be able to maneuver throughout the facility.
  • Ability to climb ladders or stairs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and lean over for a period of time.
  • Ability to wear required safety equipment.
This description is a summary of principal responsibilities and is not intended to include all duties that may be assigned. Shift: Primarily 1st (7:00AM - 3:30PM). Must be able to support both shifts, which may require occasionally coming in early or staying late to effectively set up and train employees across all four shifts.
