Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full demand to delivery process for Maersk Line vessels.
- Conduct RFQ processes with non-contracted suppliers to ensure optimal deliveries.
- Adhere to Procure to Pay procedures for timely payments and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Engage with technical teams for effective stakeholder management.
- Optimize vessel budgets, negotiate contracts and assess Supplier Performance.
- Forecast demand and allocate volumes based on annual spending data.
- Follow the 4R Principles: Right price, Right place, Right time, Right quantity.
- Support Maersk's carbon-neutral initiatives to reduce supply chain emissions.
- Collaborate with Master Data teams to maintain data quality and enhance catalogue coverage at key ports.
- Foster new supplier relationships and respond swiftly to stakeholder issues.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum bachelor's degree with a background in procurement; experience in Shipping/O&G is advantageous.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain roles from reputable organizations.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of logistics, vessel operations, and customs regulations.
- Proven ability to multitask effectively with keen attention to detail.
- Appreciates diversity and excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
