About The Role We are currently seeking an Insurance Application Support Specialist to join our Corporate IT team. This role can be based in our Canton, MA office or fully remote within the United States. You will be responsible for resolving Tier I and II application issues, with some Tier III involvement, while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and productivity. The position involves troubleshooting insurance applications and providing technical guidance and informal training to both internal and external users. Responsibilities Respond to and resolve complex application and technical issues via phone, email, or self-service channels Provide application and technical support, including guidance and informal training on insurance systems Troubleshoot system problems and restore services using established processes Maintain problem documentation and communicate status updates to users Act as a liaison between support departments for escalated issues Develop and update knowledge base documentation and user communications Acquire in-depth knowledge of insurance systems and support policies Support system outage communication and incident resolution Deliver IT communications, training, and mentorship to team members Contribute to and support project initiatives, defining work deliverables and managing timelines Skills And Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 1-3 years of experience in Commercial or Personal Lines Property/Casualty insurance Specialty insurance and Surety Bond experience is a plus Strong knowledge of MS365, Outlook, Internet Browsers, and Windows OS Excellent problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment Salary Base salary range: $56,000 - $79,000 For candidates in San Francisco, Hoboken, and the NYC metro area: $71,000 - $82,000 Bonus potential and comprehensive benefits including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance (no waiting period) Paid time off programs 401(k) with up to 12% annual contributions Mental health support, paid parental leave, and other voluntary benefits Equal Opportunity Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
