Bennett Thrasher is seeking a highly skilled and advanced Helpdesk Support Analyst II (Senior) to join our dynamic IT team. This is not an entry level position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise support or military environments, comprehensive experience with Active Directory and a keen interest in automation, development, or Microsoft 365 (M365) administration. The candidate should also be proficient in software troubleshooting, imaging PCs and providing exceptional technical support to end-users. Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity across various platforms and devices.
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory, including group policies, OU structures, and advanced configurations.
  • Manage full lifecycle of firm's hardware and software, including setup, upgrades, and refresh.
  • Administer and support M365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams. Image and deploy PCs using industry-standard tools and practices.
  • Collaborate with administrative team to address IT needs and support software deployments.

  • Monitor and respond to helpdesk tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the IT support function.
  • Document and maintain IT processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in enterprise or military IT environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and M365 administration.
  • Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
  • Proficiency with tools like Microsoft SCCM, Intune, VPNs, MDM, and ITSM systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (required), Certifications for Azure administration, AI or Development (preferred).
