[Job ID: 704757] Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership in metallurgy and materials engineering, including analytical techniques, testing methodologies, and problem-solving approaches. Develop and enhance testing capabilities to meet customer requirements. Lead high-volume testing operations with rapid turnaround times, supporting engineers and technicians to deliver compliant and accurate results. Act as a technical liaison during ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation processes, customer audits, and proficiency testing. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance lab efficiency, workflow effectiveness, and service quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical consultation, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure engineering integrity. Support training and mentorship of junior engineers and technicians to build internal technical capabilities. Requirements: Diploma in Mechanical, Electronic or any other engineering disciplines 3-5 years of relevant experience in metallurgical evaluation, mechanical/materials testing, and welding-related applications. Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025. Proven expertise in hands-on engineering activities and analytical methods. Strong knowledge of ASME, AWS, ASTM, and ISO standards related to materials and welding is an added advantage.
