ISCO Industries is an end-to-end piping solutions provider that specializes in HDPE, working with leading edge technology that makes us a market leader.Job purpose:The Industrial Painter is proficient in accordance with project requirements for: sandblasting, priming, and painting all steel piping, producing work of a high standard in compliance with Company's policies and procedures.Key responsibilities and accountabilities:Clean and prepare surface areas prior to painting, complete pre-start equipment checkPerform abrasive pot gun painting in accordance with policies and proceduresApply required mils of primer in accordance with policies and procedures then, apply required mils of topcoat in accordance with policies and proceduresPreserve pressure pot painting tools and equipment.Accurately maintain required records and documentation for each projectResponsibly handle painted items without damage to painted surfacesFollow ALL corporate safety requirements and standards, including but not limited to the use of respiratory equipment, protective clothing, protective lenses/goggles, steel toed boots, etc.Sustain a safe and clean assigned workstationSafely operate forkliftOther painting tasks as assigned by supervisorQualifications/Requirements:High school diploma or GEDAble to maintain and use pressure pot painting equipmentPrevious experience using pressure pot painting equipment preferredSubmit to pre-employment and random drug and/or alcohol tests as required by DOT Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
