We are currently seeking a Casework Assistant to support our Nassau County-based programs-PINS Diversion and HEART.What You'll Be Doing:In this role, you'll be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team, providing essential administrative and program support. Your work will make a real impact in the lives of youth and families while gaining valuable experience in the field of social services. Key Responsibilities:Answer phones and manage front desk inquiries at both Hempstead and Bellmore sitesDirect calls, take messages, and correspond with clients (letters, emails, etc.)Schedule and log appointments (cluster meetings, medical/psych, special events)Maintain and enter data into client records, including medication trackingSupport reporting by maintaining KPI databases, generating Excel spreadsheets, and assisting with monthly statisticsType and organize program reports, including psychiatric evaluationsAttend staff meetings, training, and supervision sessionsAssist with other administrative and casework-related initiatives as neededTo Be Successful, You Must:Work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentBe organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasksBe flexible and capable of shifting focus when necessaryCommunicate clearly and professionally with clients and staffFunction within program and agency policies, and meet regulatory expectationsMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field preferredStrong word processing and data entry skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Valid NYS Driver's License in good standing5.
