What doesn't change is our commitment to helping our clients, and society, prosper.Position OverviewThe Client Associate is part of the North America Client Service Team, working on client reporting, ad hoc projects and being a central point of contact for assigned clients of Schroder Investment Management North America Inc (SIMNA). The role requires someone with the ability to grasp and understand all aspects of the client's accounts, including but not limited to legal, operational, compliance, and general investment product related issues. This role is part of the Client Service Team within the Schroders Client Group. The ideal candidate will be a team player, focused on providing best-in-class client service and completing client requests in a timely manner.Responsibilities Production of Client Reports / Client Service Administration (75%) Preparation of accurate monthly/quarterly/annually and ad hoc reporting in a timely manner and/or by the stated deadline. Complete complex reporting requirements for Sub-advised clients, such as 15c and prospectus requests. Develop technical skills and participate in local/global firm initiatives to streamline processes and functions vital to servicing clients. Provide ongoing maintenance of CRM database, client distribution lists and other client informational spreadsheets. Coordination of presentation material ahead of client meetings.Relationship Management and Service Development (10%) Proactively manage and develop relationships with clients and colleagues at Schroders to effectively complete your job. Attain a deeper understanding of the needs and requirements of current and prospective clients which will allow you to proactively shape and define the required service proposition for each key strategic client. Work closely with our Client Lifecycle Management Team onboarding new accounts through the Global Institutional Client Take On (GICTO) process to ensure satisfactory and timely set up with a clear understanding of the servicing requirements for each account. . Ensure all internal procedures are followed and necessary information is obtained to register clients on relevant systems and inform relevant internal departments as appropriate. Work with our central cash team to co-ordinate any complex cashflows that require co-ordination with the client. Follow the policies and procedures as defined by your manager that will allow you to effectively complete your job. Keep up to date on Schroders products and vehicles.Inquiries from Clients (15%) General assistance to sales teams when issues arise pertaining to Intermediary clients. Respond promptly and professionally to requests from clients. Act as the central point of contact for all client issues and act as the liaison with internal teams (i.e., portfolio management, operations, marketing, etc.) to resolve the issue(s). Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred (or ability to obtain within 6 months) Prior work experience in financial services preferred. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications Up to 2 years of experience in client service, operations, sales, or portfolio management support. Strong team orientation Enthusiastic and client-oriented mentality Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, including email correspondence. Demonstrated ability to explain relatively complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. Thorough and attentive to detail. Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines. Responsible for planning own workload typically against a backdrop of changing priorities and/or external events. Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills; escalate issues as appropriate. Experience with SalesForce.com preferred.CompensationSchroders offers a base salary in the range of $70,000 to $85,000 for this position.The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
