Receptionist Position
We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our team in Mineral Ridge, Ohio. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a welcoming and efficient front office environment for a non-profit organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet parents, children, and visitors while ensuring adherence to building protocols.
- Create and edit documents using Microsoft Office programs with a focus on accuracy and creativity.
- Maintain office equipment by ordering and replenishing supplies such as paper and toner.
- Utilize tracking logs to monitor incoming documents and distribute them appropriately.
- Open, log, and distribute incoming mail in a timely manner.
- Uphold confidentiality while treating all individualschildren, parents, and colleagueswith respect.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable.
- Provide meeting support, including preparing agendas, minutes, reports, and handouts as needed.
- Manage office supplies inventory and ensure availability for daily operations.
- Assist management staff and supervisors with various tasks and projects as requested.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
- Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and scheduling appointments.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively via email.
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent data entry and file organization abilities.
- Effective interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a detail-oriented and respectful manner.
- Familiarity with Head Start Performance Standards or similar licensing requirements is a plus.
