Job Overview

The Senior Project Manager manages programming, planning, and activation of complex projects under the supervision of the Director. Ensures projects are in scope, on schedule, within budget, and meet all objectives and regulations. Acts as a liaison among clients, operational leaders, consultants, contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies. Responsible for planning, scheduling, delegation, and oversight of project resources, including project managers and coordinators. The role involves high-level communication, strategic project management, and leadership in directing work, schedules, and operational needs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct project intake, develop teams, define objectives, scope, and processes, and oversee development and implementation.
  • Lead client engagement, project development, decision-making, and scope management.
  • Collaborate with management on policies, procedures, and strategic planning.
  • Provide leadership for large, strategic projects, defining goals and overseeing deliverables.
  • Manage project design, structure, and strategic input for department initiatives.
  • Direct and mentor project managers and coordinators.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, operational leaders, vendors, and others.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and budgets, ensuring successful completion.
  • Implement quality control and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of responsible work experience; 7 years in project leadership preferred.
  • Knowledge of project management tools, MS Office, SharePoint, and PPM software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma or PMP preferred.

Base pay scale generally starts at $64.58 - $85.57 per hour. Final salary depends on experience, education, and other factors.
