The Head of Marketing will be responsible for building and leading the marketing function for a growing organization in the life sciences sector. This role will develop and execute the global marketing strategy to drive sustainable growth and achieve business objectives. It includes overseeing core marketing functions such as market intelligence, product marketing, brand development, and market penetration.
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy covering product portfolio planning, market expansion, and brand development.Establish annual marketing plans, set objectives, and manage key initiatives to support business growth and revenue goals.Collaborate with Business Development, Corporate Development, and executive leadership to shape and evolve company branding, messaging, and market presence.Build and refine competitive and market intelligence programs to support strategic planning and innovation.Report on marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI) to senior leadership.Lead regional marketing teams to support business development and sales through targeted lead generation campaigns.Oversee development and execution of brand and communication strategies across multiple marketing channels (e.g., advertising, digital marketing, events, technical content, social media).Drive alignment of key technical and operational messages with subject matter experts (SMEs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to amplify market impact.
Bachelor's degree in life sciences required; advanced degree (M.S., Ph.D.) and/or MBA preferred.Minimum of 10 years' marketing experience in healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical services.At least 5 years in a senior marketing role, preferably within the CMO, CDMO, or CRO sectors.Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese strongly preferred; excellent communication skills in both languages required.Proven track record in managing diverse marketing programs across various channels.Strong leadership presence with exceptional team and relationship-building capabilities.Willingness to travel as needed for team support and industry engagement.
