Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electro Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead our electrical design team. This role will act as the subject matter expert (SME) in electrical engineering, oversee day-to-day operations of the team, and actively participate in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems for large-scale modular metal enclosures and other industrial projects.
This individual will work cross-functionally with other engineering leaders and company executives, while also driving technical excellence and mentorship within the team.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical System Design & Development
Design, develop, and test advanced electrical systems and components
Conduct signal processing, circuit analysis, and system optimization
Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot electrical issues
Technical Leadership & Team Management
Directly oversee and mentor the electrical engineering team
Provide guidance and expertise during system design reviews and project planning
Participate in company leadership meetings to communicate project updates
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with mechanical design, software, and project management teams
Integrate electrical designs with hardware, software, and industrial systems
Interface with customers and vendors when needed for technical discussions
Documentation & Compliance
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation: schematics, diagrams, and specifications
Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field Minimum 6 years of electrical engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a management or team leadership role Expertise in CAD software for electrical design (SolidWorks Electrical or equivalent) Strong knowledge of Industrial Electrical Power Systems Proficient in signal processing, circuit design, and troubleshooting techniques Ability to lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field Experience with battery storage, photovoltaics (PV), and renewable energy systems Familiarity with large-scale enclosure design and modular electrical integration
