About the Role

The successful candidate will manage multiple roadway projects independently, develop marketing strategies, and mentor junior staff while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple roadway projects independently
• Develop marketing strategies tailored to promoting roadway engineering in key markets
• Prepare Letters of Response and Technical Proposals
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members
• Deliver projects and tasks that meet expectations set by the supervisor
• Exhibit leadership qualities consistently across all responsibilities
• Conduct regular content reviews to uphold top-tier quality standards
• Lead internal training programs for team development
• Perform responsibilities without technical oversight

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• 10–15+ years of progressively complex engineering experience
• Proven project management experience with NCDOT and/or North Carolina municipal clients

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
