Description
PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
This position provides supervision to staff providing 24 hour support services in residential treatment services at the Women's Treatment Center. (HUB) Evidence-based treatment services are provided within a 24/7 safety milieu with a comprehensive array of mental health, family services and integrated into each individual's treatment and wellness plan as indicated.
Position: Full-Time exempt
Compensation: Salary starting at $52,416 annaully
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Assist in the development and implementation of support specialists training modules.
- Train support staff in the knowledge, skills and attitudes of professional practices on substance abuse and other related issues. De-escalation, crisis, active listening, motivational interviewing, problem solving, dispensing of medication and skill building.
- Oversee monitoring of surveillance system and insure building safety
- Oversee team briefing at the beginning of each shift to identify any issues and insure that all staff on shift have current information.
- Provide culturally appropriate services, implemented within the context of social, cultural, racial, gender-specific sensitivity and understanding
- Participate in clinical and integrated staff meetings.
- Provide immediate crisis intervention and assistance in developing safety plans.
- Participate in weekly supervision sessions with director.
- Complete necessary requirements in order to maintain certification.
- Responsible for the hiring of new support services staff.
- Responsible for the support staff schedule, maintain adequate staffing pattern on all shifts and weekends.
- Provide clinical services as needed.
- Assist and train in appropriate and accurate documentation for client EHR.
- Provide clinical supervision, support and mentoring to CADC-R's working to obtain certification.
- Responsible for creating professional development plans, and performance reviews for all support staff.
- Be on call for support staff supervision on evenings and weekends.
- Ad hoc assignments as requested by Senior Manager.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Oregon state certification (CADC) is required, or demonstration of active progress towards certification within timelines as defined: OAR, 309-###-#### (1). A minimum five years' experience providing direct services to individuals in a residential setting.
- Must pass a required criminal records background check
- Must adhere to the agency's non-discrimination policies
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, and others with diverse ethnic backgrounds, religious views, political affiliation, cultural backgrounds, life-styles, and sexual orientations and treat each individual with respect and dignity.
