Job Description :

The Talent Systems Manager at BOCES 5 is a full-time, exempt position responsible for overseeing all personnel functions across the organization's locations and programs. This role manages the full employee lifecycle—from recruiting, hiring, and onboarding staff and volunteers, to coordinating training, professional development, and annual evaluations—while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. The position also administers employee housing, benefits, and personnel policies, maintains confidential employee records, and supports directors and managers in addressing employment matters. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, a collaborative approach, and the ability to foster a positive, professional work environment that supports the growth and satisfaction of all staff.
