Full-time: 38-40 hours per week Hours: Monday - Friday from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm Hourly Range: $26.00-32.00/hour About the Club For nearly 70 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue has been committed to providing safe places for Bellevue's youth when they are not in school. Targeting the neighborhoods that need us most, Clubs ensure all youth have equal access to life-enhancing programming focused on academics, health, and leadership. At the Club, our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Project Learn is an afterschool program for youth that offers tutoring and homework assistance, computer labs, special events, art, social recreation, and positive role models. Offering a caring, safe place for youth to go after school, Project Learn provides a structured and positive atmosphere where young people can learn and play. A Site Director is a self-motivated and positive individual who can balance an energetic, fun, youth-focused atmosphere with professionalism and maturity. A Site Director manages the overall daily operations of the Clubhouse with the primary concern on programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, community relations, and membership administration. BGCB is an ever-changing organization that strives to meet the fluctuating needs of youth and the community. Because of this, we are looking for flexible individuals who are comfortable in an environment where job responsibilities and location could be subject to change. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee a team of Youth Development Professionals.
  • Be the point of contact for parents/guardians.
  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures regarding participant safety, risk management, and building security.
  • Develop and guide program staff to facilitate new, fun, and educational activities and programs for youth, including the Youth of the Month program and other BGCA programs.
  • Support staff with the implementation of activities & youth behavior management.
  • Manage membership recruitment efforts and strive to keep programs full at all times.
  • Manage club memberships (waitlists, account balances, etc.).
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the school and assist with the supervision and coordination of Club maintenance and appearance.
  • Participate in community outreach, corporate partner events, and Great Futures Day.
  • Incident reporting.
  • Complete grant reports as required.
These responsibilities do not fully encapsulate the scope of the role. You may be asked to perform a job duty that is not listed. On occasion, you may be asked to cover at different sites in order to maintain staff-to-youth ratios. QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Two to four-year degree in a related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent, is preferred
  • Minimum of two years' work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people is preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin
  • Demonstrated organizational, staff, and project management abilities
  • Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics
  • Experience in Sales Force is preferred
  • Must be 21 years old or older
  • Must pass National Background Check and Driving Record Check
