Position Summary/Essential Duties:

\n

The therapist is learning and incorporating the mission statement and standards of behavior of his/her hospital or care facility. This therapist performs basic competencies within orientation and provides satisfactory respiratory therapy with minimum supervision. Essential duties include:

\n

· Mechanical ventilation

\n

· Medicated aerosol delivery

\n

· Airway clearance therapy

\n

· Patient monitoring

\n

· Oxygen and humidity therapy

\n

· Special procedures (CPR, specialty gases, bronchoscopy, transport, etc.)

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

\n

Associates Degree or Bachelors in Respiratory

\n

\n

\n

\n

Required Credentials, License and/or Certifications:

\n

· Registered Respiratory Therapist.

\n

· Licensed to practice respiratory therapy in Ohio

\n

\n

\n

\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\n

This role is for our special care nursery, women laboring, and infant resuscitation during deliveries. Must have at least 2 years of experience in the NICU and attending deliveries. The schedule is part time, (2) 12 hour night shifts, Monday-Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. The primary location is TriPoint Medical Center in Concord, but 25% travel to our main campus in Cleveland (Rainbow Babies & Children's) is required to maintain skills.

Employees who are hired to work 16-34 hours per week will be awarded a $5,000 sign on bonus: $1,500 to be paid out the next applicable pay period after 90 days of employment, $3,500 to be paid out following the 1 year mark, based on performance.
