Depending on the assignment, the incumbent may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties, and perform related duties as assigned:Maintain all buildings, structures, equipment, grounds, and ancillary equipment including auxiliary utility systems. May supervise or lead skilled and semiskilled carpentry, electrical, electronics, plumbing, roof repair, painting and plastering tasks in the maintenance and repair of buildings and building equipment. Provide proper training to others in procedures and of plumbing, electrical, electronics, carpentry, mechanical equipment and others. Respond to emergency situations and ensure responsible back up is available to take corrective action as needed. Assist in the maintenance and general procurement of materials and parts, schedule installations and repairs. Perform maintenance tasks involving the repair of buildings and equipment.
