Disaster Case Manager

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' disaster-related unmet needs. Develop an individual recovery plan with survivors to set goals for each household. Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, nonprofits, and community organizations, to facilitate access to resources and services. Assist clients in applying for disaster assistance programs and other financial support mechanisms. Maintain accurate and confidential case files and documentation in compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Facilitate regular in person meetings with disaster survivors at local offices and other locations as needed at the convenience of the survivor. Attend community meetings and events both in person and virtually. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge of disaster response and recovery strategies.
