We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Cemetery Sexton. This part time position involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the cemetery, including coordinating burials, maintaining grounds, and ensuring respectful care of all facilities. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working outdoors in all seasons. Strong communication skills are essential, as the Sexton interacts with grieving families, funeral directors, and maintenance staff.
Key responsibilities include plot management, record-keeping, supervision of groundskeeping, and coordination with clergy and service providers. Experience with landscaping, small equipment operation, or facility management is a plus, though training will be provided.
