Healthcare Call Center Associate

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals who are passionate about helping others. As a member of our Customer Experience team, you will assist customers with inquiries related to their healthcare coverage. Your outstanding customer service and communication skills will help us create positive experiences while working in a supportive team environment. Reliability and punctuality are vital for our clients' success.

The pay is $16.00 per hour.

Hours of operation: Monday-Sunday 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM EST. Flexibility to work any time during these hours, including weekends, is essential.

Training Duration: 7 weeks in a classroom setting followed by 2 weeks of nesting.

Health benefits including medical, dental, and vision will be available on your first day of employment.

Paid time off accrues after 180 days (approximately 6 months) of employment.

As a Call Center Associate, you will:

  • Manage a high volume of incoming customer calls.
  • Navigate multiple computer systems while assisting customers and resolving issues.
  • Remain at your desk throughout your shift, aside from scheduled breaks and lunches.
  • Handle back-to-back calls in a fast-paced environment.

Sample Questions You May Handle:

  • Can you provide me with a basic overview of the benefits I am enrolled in?
  • What is the status of my submitted claim?

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a customer service assessment and typing test.
  • High school diploma, GED, or college degree.
  • A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience.
  • Ability to complete a mandatory paid training program with 100% attendance.
  • Completion of a background check is required.

Equipment and Workspace Requirements:

  • All necessary equipment will be provided, including a computer, monitor, keyboard, headset, and cables.
  • A stable internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed is required.
  • You must hardwire your work computer directly to your home modem; satellite and wireless connections are not acceptable.
  • A quiet, distraction-free workspace is essential during work hours.
