Data Center Specialist, I JOB PURPOSE: Under general supervision, perform routine, day-to-day activities to support the operation of the Data Center in accordance with established policies and procedures. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours response to Data Center issues. Provide customer service to Information Technology staff and contractors, and assist with physical equipment installations, relocations, and removals. This position has been deemed essential as addressed in the University of Wyomings Employee Handbook. Employees in essential positions may be required to work during emergency closures and winter closure based on the nature of their job duties and the reasons for the closure. Additionally, this position involves on-call status.
