Location : Midland, MI Job Type: Full-Time Job Number: 03425 Division: Midland Campus Department: UG Academic Admin and Support Opening Date: 08/07/2025 Closing Date: Continuous Roles The Undergraduate Programs Manager will serve as a member of the Undergraduate Academic Department, providing support with matters related to full-time and adjunct faculty. The Undergraduate Programs Manager reports to the Academic Dean. Responsibilities
- Assists with adjunct faculty employment, credentialing, and scheduling, coordinating with appropriate academic deans and department chairs.
- Builds a pipeline of qualified undergraduate adjunct faculty candidates.
- Coordinates with divisions and departments to facilitate workflows in hiring, scheduling, administrative activities, and professional development participation.
- Schedules, organizes, and prepares materials for adjunct faculty meetings in coordination with Academics staff.
- Coordinates and manages schedule, textbook, and contract processes for undergraduate courses each semester.
- Ensures faculty course load requirements are maintained across Northwood undergraduate operations.
- Contacts faculty regularly to assess and identify classroom needs, developing recommendations and plans of action as required.
- Directly supervises undergraduate adjunct faculty and serves as the main point of contact for adjunct faculty concerns.
- Monitors faculty activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Ensures collection of accurate and up-to-date faculty information regarding academic credentials and professional/scholarly activities.
- Manages communication of Academics-related operations to undergraduate faculty.
- Supports classroom review and observation processes.
- Coordinates annual Honors Convocation Awards faculty selections and faculty events.
- Assists with budget management.
- Maintains and prepares various academic reports.
- Assists in student end-of-course survey data aggregation and analysis.
- Assists dean(s) in the implementation of institutional, program, and departmental initiatives.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a master's degree.
- Higher education teaching experience in a variety of modalities (on-ground, blended, and online).
- Previous project management experience.
- Advanced business productivity skills.
- Preferred: Have demonstrated management experience in higher education.
