We're seeking a detail-oriented Senior Product Manager to optimize Shopbop's operational efficiency and catalog management within Amazon Marketplace. This role focuses on day-to-day marketplace operations, catalog excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless fulfillment and listing quality.

Key job responsibilities

As the primary owner of Shopbop's seller account, you will be responsible for maintaining optimal account health and resolving any emerging issues. You'll oversee daily marketplace operations, implementing and refining processes to improve fulfillment efficiency and inventory management. A critical aspect of your role will be developing and maintaining comprehensive standard operating procedures for the marketplace operations team. When operational challenges arise, you'll lead troubleshooting efforts and work to implement sustainable solutions.

You will serve as the guardian of Shopbop's product catalog on Amazon Marketplace, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy across all listings. This includes establishing and enforcing catalog management best practices, driving continuous improvements in product data quality, and maintaining consistent content standards. You'll actively monitor and swiftly resolve catalog-related issues, including image quality concerns and product information accuracy. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the premium presentation of Shopbop's products on Amazon's marketplace.

Success in this role requires strong partnership with multiple teams across the organization. You'll work closely with fulfillment and inventory teams to implement process improvements and resolve operational challenges. Regular collaboration with content and merchandising teams will ensure catalog accuracy and consistency. You'll partner with technical teams to identify and implement automation opportunities that streamline operational processes. Additionally, you'll maintain productive relationships with Amazon teams, coordinating on operational initiatives and ensuring smooth communication regarding catalog updates and system changes.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

  • Experience with Amazon Marketplace operations and seller tools

  • Background in retail operations or e-commerce

  • Proficiency in Excel and basic SQL

  • Experience with catalog management systems

  • Understanding of inventory management principles

  • Familiarity with retail fulfillment processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
