POSITION: Computed Tomography Technologist
DEPARTMENT: Radiology
LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital
HOURS: 40 hours per week
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, Rotating Weekends
SIGN-ON BONUS: Up to $20,000
OVERVIEW:
As a Computed Tomography Technologist, your compassion for patients, expert technical abilities, and commitment to quality are vital for successful imaging processes and elevate the performance of our entire department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Patient Care: Conduct high-quality radiography, including CT scans and Interventional CT guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for the CT section; proactively address patient care needs.
Documentation: Ensure accurate documentation of exams and procedures; record performance of studies in patient charts.
Daily Maintenance: Support daily operations of the CT team; maintain cleanliness, restock supplies, and prepare examination rooms.

R - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Medium Work - Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and more than negligible up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects; requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
