Labor & Delivery will be the primary role. Must be willing to float to Maternity when necessary. Patient ratio is 1:1, 1:2. Will not be required to be in charge or precept. Must have CPR, NRP, ACLS certifications. Competency with fetal monitor strips is required. This position involves a rotation schedule, predominantly nights. The unit cares for delivered patients, post-operative gynecologic patients, and stable antepartum patients. Labor & Delivery is a high-risk unit with a significant number of deliveries each month.
