Make a difference in L&I's Data Analysis by designing, developing, and implementing reporting solutions that support strategic and operational goals. You will help build systems for tracking agency processes and metrics, promoting data-driven decision making. The role primarily supports the Health Services Analysis and Office of the Medical Director programs within the Insurance Services division. Key Responsibilities Gather and clarify data and reporting requirements from stakeholders, interpreting needs to design effective data solutions. Develop models of final outputs, verifying data availability and accuracy. Write code using tools like Hyperion Studio, SAS, SSMS, SSRS, SQL, and JavaScript to extract and analyze data from the agency's data warehouse and other sources. Evaluate data results for accuracy and usability, adjusting processes as needed. Create complex reports including datasets, charts, graphs, documents, presentations, or web-based interactive reports. Advise project teams to ensure data is accurate, understandable, and supports decision-making. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree with coursework in Statistics and/or Mathematics, plus three years of relevant experience as a Data Consultant 3 or equivalent. Graduate training may substitute for up to two years of experience. Alternatively, equivalent education and experience. Desired: Experience within the Health Services Analysis program, proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Hyperion, SSMS, SSRS, SAS, SharePoint, JavaScript, knowledge of Kimball Data Warehouse design, and strong communication skills.
