Acupuncturist - BCH Center of Mind Body Medicine Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $40.31 - $60.47 an hour - Half-Time Days, 20 hours per week
Boulder Community Health is seeking an Acupuncturist who is responsible for providing acupuncture services for patients within different settings at Boulder Community Health to promote relaxation, pain relief and optimal healing.

Qualifications •Graduate of an accredited or approved school of acupuncture or traditional Chinese medicine with a minimum of 1800 hours of training •Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire •State of Colorado Acupuncture License •Three years of acupuncture experience preferred •Experience in an integrative clinic or healthcare setting preferred •Experience with public speaking and presentations preferred
Responsibilities •Practice within the scope of the Acupuncturists Practice Act for the State of Colorado. •Provides treatment in individual sessions as well as in community clinic. •Communicates effectively and professionally at all times with an interdisciplinary team including patient, family, physician, referral sources, team members, peers, support staff and management through written and verbal means. •Document according to department policies and applicable regulations. •Facilitate the delivery of age-specific care skills as defined by area patient population. •Assists in creating a calm and healing environment for patients, visitors, and staff. •Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and requirements
