You'll earn $35-$40 per hour, plus a $2500 sign-on bonus, working Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with occasional overnight and weekend shifts. If you're ready to advance your career, contact our RPS Recruiters, Melanie and Sam at [email protected] to learn more!Perks & Benefits Weekly paychecks Direct Deposit or Cash Card pay options Medical / Dental Insurance 401k Paid Time Off Sign on Bonus (Restrictions Apply) $35.00 - $40.00 / Hour Employment Type & Shifts Full Time Direct Hire 1st Shift Weekend Shifts Job Responsibilities This is position requires repairing heavy equipment forklift, loader, excavator, cranes, dozers, grapplesA typical work schedule is Mon-Fri from day shift, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Some occasional overnight shifts and weekends are also requiredRebuild major components (engine, transmission, pumps, cylinders, motors and electrical systems) to manufacturers specificationsDetermine causes of failure and implement strategies or corrective measures to ensure repeated failures do not occurUse torches, presses, pullers, winches, jacks, lifts and other mechanical devices properly and within capacitiesUse tools properly and understands which tools are required for each repairCleaning of radiators and filter housings with compressed air (compression operation)Operate vehicles and mobile equipment including fuel trucks, lube trucks, forklifts, pumps, light towers, electrical tools and hoistsComplete minor paperwork including inspections, oil sample analysis and reports as neededPerform extended manual labor including but not limited to lifting, shoveling, stocking shelves, sweeping, cleaning and other routing activities associated with the maintenance of the equipment and the maintenance work areaAbility to take direction and follow specific policies and procedures when requiredPerform minor repairs to equipment, ensure equipment is fit for service, be able to perform pre-start inspections and fluid level checks to ensure equipment is safe for operationPerform other duties as assignedJob Qualifications:Prior mechanic experience repairing heavy equipment loader, excavator, cranes, dozers, grapplesHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Proficient knowledge of and application of diagnostic tools including multimeters, computers, gauges, probes, scopes, calipers, and other measurement and diagnostic tools required for the repair and maintenance of mobile equipmentAbility to communicate issues and concerns about equipment to supervision and outside dealers or technicians when requiredPhysical ability to perform heavy laborStrong safety valuesStrong mechanical aptitudeAssociate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Drug Test Must be at least 18 years old
