Our hourly employees are rewarded each year by the Members of the community with a Holiday Fund BonusTake pride in working at an Award-winning community that is beautiful year roundBe part of a team with the unique opportunity to connect with members, create joy and happiness, mentor positive energy, inspire others and, most of all, be inspired.Job Responsibilities for a Member Services Attendant:Serves as the first point of contact to personally greet all customers and valet park vehicles.Provides an array of services to Members (e.g. unloading vehicles, delivering packages and mail, transportation, dog walking, washing cars)Provides a safe and secure environment as a First Responder in all areas of The Garlands' community.Serves as liaison between The Garlands and emergency personnel, including the fire department, paramedics and 911.Responds to medical emergencies by taking appropriate and immediate action to assist the individual(s) in distress.Completes building security rounds.Assists the Maintenance department with the snow removal, when necessary.Certified in using the AED & performing CPR. (required training provided)*Some weekends and holidays may be requiredQualificationsProven strong customer service skillsAbility to demonstrate compassion, patience and understandingA current driver's license in good standingMust have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysCapable of learning a variety of safety, security and emergency preparedness measures and be able to respond calmly and professionally to all situationsExcellent communication skills, phone etiquette, attention to detailBasic computer skills and the ability to learn new systemsExperience working in or with Police or Fire Department may be helpful, but not requiredPhysical Requirements:•Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.•Must be able to walk and stand continuously
