$35,000.00/yr - $50,000.00/yr

Company: Grace Christian Academy of Merrick RedBalloon posts jobs on behalf of client companies Job Summary Grace Christian Academy is seeking a dynamic and compassionate High School English Teacher to fill a leave replacement position for the 2025-2026 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who have a passion for young students in a Christ-centered environment. Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in all core subjects, including Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies, following the school's curriculum
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere that aligns with Christian values
• Integrate Biblical teachings into academic lessons and classroom activities
• Regularly assess student progress and provide feedback to both students and parents
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the holistic development of each student

Qualifications

• Clear testimony of salvation
• Good standing membership in a Bible-believing church
• Strict adherence to the 5 Solas of the Reformation
• Bachelors degree in virtually any field
• Willingness to be trained in Classical pedagogy
• Previous experience teaching in homeschool or corporate school setting is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A deep commitment to the mission and values of Christian Classical education
• Ability to integrate faith into daily lessons and classroom activities
• Must be able to pass a background check
