Summary: Perform as an Applications Systems Analyst and Developer for the Client Account. The primary responsibility is supporting the client's business applications, including maintenance activities and coordination with city users, software vendors, and technical support staff.
Responsibilities:
Interact with business systems owners to identify needs, assess process improvements, and provide technical guidelines.Maintain applications for client/city departments, including implementation, upgrades, and patches.Develop and support applications and interfaces for city initiatives.Gather requirements and document specifications for development.Implement processes for migration, testing, and support.Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and assist with change implementation.Prioritize and manage fix and change deadlines.Follow operational guidelines and escalate issues as needed.Collaborate with various client groups and support teams.Lead technical and support teams on projects and initiatives.Ensure resolution of project and support issues with root-cause analysis.Coordinate with city staff and vendors on support and incident resolution.Support 24x7 business operations and be available onsite during business hours or emergencies.Qualifications:
- College degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
- Proven experience with C#, .NET, Java, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Experience in application maintenance, upgrades, and system implementation.
- Support experience with troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Experience with Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps).
- Experience with reporting tools like Tableau, Cognos, Crystal Reports.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of relational databases like MS SQL Server or Oracle.
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, or similar languages.
- Ability to multitask and support off-hours incidents.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
- Experience as the primary contact with clients and vendors.
- Ability to lead projects and initiatives.
- Quick learner and adaptable to multi-platform environments.
- Willing to undergo security clearance process.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay across the U.S. is $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Final offers depend on skills, education, experience, and benefits. Benefits may include health coverage, paid time off, 401(k), and more.
