Job Summary:

• Data Scientist responsible for scientifically and mathematically testing and certifying advanced machine learning models, with focus on detailed model documentation for regulatory purposes.
• The role requires deep expertise in machine learning techniques with strong Python skills.

location: Pennington, 0job type: Contractsalary: $58 - 60 per hourwork hours: 9am to 5pmeducation: BachelorsResponsibilities:KEY RESPONSIBILITIESModel Testing and Certification: Design and implement rigorous scientific and mathematical methods to test and certify machine learning models, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and robustness.Bias Measurement: Develop and apply methodologies to identify, measure, and mitigate biases in machine learning models to ensure fairness and ethical AI practices.Model Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and detailed records of model development, testing processes, and outcomes, ensuring transparency and reproducibility.Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets to derive insights, identify patterns, and inform model improvements.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and product managers, to integrate models into production environments.Communication: Clearly communicate technical findings, model performance, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersQualifications:REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCEEducation: Bachelors, Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.
• Deep knowledge of machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, transformers, large language models (LLMs), and generative AI.
• Experience with bias detection and mitigation techniques in AI models.
• Familiarity with model evaluation metrics and validation techniques.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets and develop innovative solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and present findings to diverse audiences.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in data science or a related field, with a focus on machine learning model development and evaluation.
• Experience in maintaining detailed technical documentation for machine learning projects.
• Python
