Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is looking for a strategic and dynamicUS Customer Experience Managerto help elevate our customer engagement model, drive key account success, and champion industry insights across product, sales, and marketing. In this highly collaborative and visible role, you will serve as a connector between key customers, internal stakeholders, and market trends, playing a critical role in helping us raise the bar and inspire healthier lives through every interaction.

This is a hybrid role, based out of our Global Support Center in Rosemont, IL with travel to customer locations as needed. Typical in-office collaboration days are Tuesdays through Thursdays. #LI-Hybrid

As Life Fitness / Hammer Strength's US Customer Experience Manager, you will:

  • Partner with top key accounts to lead concept design, gym layout strategy, and product selection across cardio, strength, and digital categories

  • Deliver compelling, insight-driven customer presentations on product trends, industry forecasts, and fitness innovation

  • Train and support sales teams on key account development, market insights, persona-based selling, and new product launches

  • Lead thought leadership initiatives through event planning, speaking engagements, trade show participation, and blog content

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Revenue Operations to ensure consistent and impactful customer engagement

  • Provide feedback to Product teams based on market visits, account feedback, and field activity to inform roadmap and MIPs (margin improvement programs)

  • Support market development through training, workshops, and event engagement

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Life Fitness / Hammer Strength across strategic moments and product launches

  • Provide customer and market insight reporting for internal executive audiences to support business and innovation strategy

What Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is looking for in our US Customer Experience Manager:

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, sales enablement, customer experience, or a strategic commercial support role

  • 7+ years of experience in the fitness, wellness, or athletics space

  • Demonstrated experience supporting or managing key customer accounts, preferably in fitness, sporting goods, wellness, or B2B environments

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with comfort leading both internal and external sessions at a senior level

  • Proven ability to translate customer insights into strategy, messaging, and action across cross-functional teams

  • Experience developing and delivering training content for sales and/or distributor networks

  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work cross-functionally, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for events, account visits, and industry engagements

  • A collaborative, resourceful, and energetic approach with a passion for customer experience and fitness innovation

At Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we believe in taking care of our team with a comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive pay and a range of valuable benefits. The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $106,400 - $149,600 annually.The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Rosemont, IL and the actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in Life Fitness / Hammer Strength's annual Manager Incentive Plan to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of bonus varies based on company and individual performance goals and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
