Responsibilities

The System Director PDC Design will be responsible for transforming, building, and leading an industry-leading healthcare design management program. This includes developing critical design functions to support the PDC Design, such as guidelines, project reviews/gates, and post-occupancy surveys, tailored project delivery, operationalization, and risk management. The role requires collaboration with key verticals within National Real Estate Services (NRES), stakeholders, and business owners across the full Integrated Delivery Network (IDN). The objective is to develop an evergreen design platform that delivers superior results across all asset types, including infrastructure, ambulatory, acute, post-acute, and senior living projects.

The position also involves leading the design platform, developing design guidelines, supporting project needs, and partnering across teams to develop a high-performance design team. Responsibilities include staffing, training, technology integration, data management, and process improvement to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements. The role requires strategic partnership with stakeholders, development of a design data cube for decision-making, and support for project delivery methodologies and standards.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in architecture, business, or related fields, with a master's preferred. Candidates should have 15+ years of leadership in healthcare design, experience with multisite and multistate projects, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and delivery methodologies. Proven success in leading high-performing teams, developing standards, and managing complex healthcare programs is essential. Additional skills include project management, negotiation, strategic planning, and advanced proficiency in MS Office, project scheduling, and design tools.

Pay Range: $72.03 - $104.45/hour
