Your Role: Program Coordinator
As an ABA Program Coordinator, you will be essential in supervising and enhancing the implementation of ABA programs. You will guide Behavior Technicians and cultivate a supportive atmosphere for clients, families, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to design, implement, and monitor individualized ABA programs that are evidence-based, goal-oriented, and tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Continuously assess client progress and make data-driven modifications to treatment plans as needed.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and contribute to the creation of behavior intervention plans.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of 4-6 Behavior Technicians, supporting their professional development and ensuring adherence to best practices in ABA.
- Facilitate performance evaluations and regular team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and develop strategies for challenging cases.
- Prepare comprehensive and accurate documentation detailing client progress, assessment outcomes, and intervention strategies.
- Maintain meticulous documentation in line with organizational and industry guidelines.
- Create engaging and appropriate activities that align with clients' goals and interests, enriching their learning experience.
- Incorporate innovative programming approaches to keep clients engaged.
- Achieve 35 billable hours per week.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Use of a company iPad and laptop for communications, data tracking, clinical notes, and scheduling.
- Adaptability to various indoor and outdoor environments, including in-home, community, school, and center settings as well as telehealth.
- Ability to engage actively with children, including working on the floor with clients.
- Capability to manage challenging behaviors and ensure the safety of clients and providers.
- Successful completion of TB test, immunizations, and background check.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Experience and Qualifications
- A completed Master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field OR
- A Master's degree in progress in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field AND
- 2-3 years of experience in ABA therapy with a strong grasp of behavior management techniques and interventions.
- Demonstrated experience in staff supervision and team leadership.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in report writing, data analysis, and meticulous documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Creativity in developing engaging activities and interventions for clients.
- Familiarity with ethical guidelines and industry standards in ABA therapy.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
- Capability to navigate across various departments within the organization's facilities.
