Supplier Quality Engineer

In this role:Lead, support, and carry out processes and tasks to assure and improve supplier quality performance aligned to Eaton and site objectives. Develop supplier relationships. Manage and monitor supplier quality performance through WISPER (DPPM / DMR / PPAP / 3rd Party certification). Responsibilities includes suppliers of: production parts and material, externally provided processes and services. Participate in monthly focus supplier reviews with plant and regional quality teams. Manage the Defective Material Report process (DMR). Support APQP / Safe Launch activities. (Supplier APQP / PPAP, definition of incoming inspection plans, performance monitoring, etc.)Participate in the Material Review Board (MRB). Drive timely and effective resolution of supplier caused nonconforming material on hold. Participate in plant level Quality Management System (QMS) Steering Committee, assisting with maintaining and improving QMS processes in partnership with the Quality Manager.
