The Associate Director of Science, Technology, Arts, and Creativity (STAC) develops and manages the programs and daily operations of Gallatin's Maker Space (746-STAC). Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and evaluating programs that integrate science, technology, arts, and the humanities. Collaborating with faculty and staff across departments to create interdisciplinary initiatives. While grounded in science, the role also seeks to connect Maker Space resources to non-STEM courses and research by faculty and students. Oversee day-to-day operations of STAC, ensuring compliance with School and University safety regulations, and foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students. Organize events related to the STAC program, residencies, and experiential learning opportunities. Hire, supervise, and train student STAC staff to support collaborative and experiential learning.
