Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA, including ethical practice and culturally congruent communication. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes through evidence-based practice. Acts as a patient/family advocate and collaborates with other healthcare team members. Initiates patient discharge planning and ensures timely documentation. Participates in safety initiatives and quality improvement activities. Critical Information Float between Big Rapids and Reed City Hospital campuses. Weekend rotation required: every other weekend. No on-call requirements.
