Prepare daily deposits for posting and accurately apply customer payments to accounts and the general ledger, both manually and via Web ADI upload. Match and code system-generated deductions to customer backup documentation, investigating discrepancies as needed. Maintain an accurate daily record of all cash (check and wire) received. Perform daily balancing to confirm that cash postings, sales, and credits reconcile with the general ledger. Produce a monthly cash reconciliation report matching cash receipts to the general ledger. Enter returns and credit memos into Levitons systems via data entry. Analyze and reconcile past-due debits, generating resolution effort reports in Excel to highlight trends and track claim outcomes. Collaborate with outside sales, logistics, warehouse, and customers to resolve claims effectively. Process chargebacks and pursue recovery for invalid deductions.
