Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Generalist. This position will work closely with the HR Manager, leadership team, and staff. The Human Resources Generalist's responsibilities include the following:
- Creating and maintaining employee files in accordance with the Joint Commission, Federal, and State guidelines regarding behavioral health hospitals.
- Ensuring license verifications are completed as scheduled.
- Reviewing, tracking, and updating employee education files with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
- Coordinating onboarding for all new hires and facilitating New Employee Orientation. Ensuring all new hire background checks and onboarding documentation are properly completed prior to hiring.
- Administering ADA and Leave of Absence for staff, including workers' compensation, FMLA, and other related leave.
- Updating and editing the HRIS system regarding any employee changes.
- Assisting with recruitment activities and candidate screening.
- Coordinating employee engagement activities for the hospital.
- Investigating employee-related issues and collaborating with hospital leadership regarding employee performance.
- Organizing special employee events, activities, and HR-related in-service training(s).
- Conducting employee benefit orientation, open enrollment meetings, and assisting employees with benefit enrollment.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism, including strict confidentiality in handling all employee and organizational information.
Qualified candidates for the Human Resources Generalist position should have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related major preferred.
- At least 1 year of prior Human Resources Generalist experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in behavioral health.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems, preferably UKG.
