In our one-on-one ABA setting, you will work closely with children (ages 18 months to 8 years) utilizing ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a supportive center-based environment. Your Role as a Behavior Therapist
- Implement one-on-one ABA therapy to assist children with Autism in achieving their fullest potential by following treatment plans, collecting data, writing insurance notes, and applying feedback from supervisors during observation sessions.
- Support early childhood development (ages 18 months to 8 years) through engaging and enjoyable therapeutic activities.
- Work collaboratively with a team to enhance treatment, maintain safety, and ensure a fun work atmosphere throughout the center.
- Engage with children through play, movement, and imitation, which may include running, dancing, singing, reading, or playing with toys, all while fostering a joyful environment.
- Communicate effectively and positively with peers, families, and supervisors to coordinate activities, celebrate successes, and advocate for individual needs.
Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and assist children in a fast-paced environment, including lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, squatting, and moving quickly to engage with young children while maintaining safety.
- Keep therapy environments organized and conducive to a stimulating and enjoyable experience for children.
- Multitask effectively to balance various responsibilities and decisions while prioritizing safety.
- Collaborate with teams cohesively across the center, neighborhood, and region, including potential travel to nearby centers when needed.
- Reliability in transportation and possession of a valid driver's license are required.
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED.
Complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment by finishing a 40-hour training curriculum, completing a hands-on competency assessment, registering for an exam, and passing the board exam.

Pay Ranges Based on Experience & Education:
- Associates/High School: $15.00 - $22.50
- Bachelors: $15.00 - $24.00
- Masters: $16.00 - $26.00
For entry-level candidates, your first raise is earned upon certification as RBT, typically within 21 days.
Relevant Experience is a Plus!
- Childcare (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor, etc.)
- Mental health professionals and advocates (QMHP, behavioral health technicians)
- Camp counselors, volunteers, or Sunday school teachers
- Degrees in education, special education, sociology, psychology, or related fields (any degree preferred)
- Experience as paraprofessionals, direct support, or life skills assistants
- A passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
