A BMO Senior Relationship Manager focused on Premier Clients is responsible for managing and expanding a well-defined portfolio of mass affluent clients. You will collaborate with multiple branch locations and a talented team of financial advisors to uncover new opportunities and deliver an exceptional, personalized experience.   • This position requires the SIE, Series 6, 63, Life, and Health licenses.
  • Effectively build and manage a portfolio of mass affluent clients across various branches.
  • Address clients' financial needs and provide robust solutions while adhering to regulatory policies.
  • Engage proactively with local communities to foster relationships and enhance the customer experience.
  • Utilize a consultative sales process to nurture relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact.
  • Work with the assigned portfolio to reveal needs, deliver solutions, and identify additional sales opportunities.
  • Offer key product recommendations and connect clients with specialized business partner experts for significant financial decisions.
  • Achieve sales goals by attracting new clients and expanding existing accounts.
  • Review credit applications to uphold sound credit practices and recommend necessary actions for maintaining asset quality.
  • Conduct comprehensive customer review meetings to foster retention and relationship deepening.
  • Engage actively in the community to generate potential leads through relationship-building initiatives.
  • Provide training and mentorship to branch staff to enhance their capabilities concerning mass affluent clients.
  • Guide clients in effectively using digital banking options and self-serve technologies.
  • Collaborate across departments to deliver product support and solve client issues within established guidelines.
  • Adhere to security protocols and maintain ethical standards to prevent losses from fraud and other risks.
  • Uphold confidentiality of all customer and bank information, complying with institutional policies.
  • Identify potential risks and implement necessary actions to maintain operational integrity.
  • Monitor and address individual exception reports promptly.
  • Support strategic initiatives alongside internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver efficient and accurate service as a primary commitment.
  • May undertake broader responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • 4 - 6 years of relevant experience; a post-secondary degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 7+ years in financial services, with in-depth knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Required licenses: SIE, Series 6, Series 63, Life & Health (must be obtained within six months if not currently held).
  • Advanced knowledge of deposit, lending, and banking products; expertise in cash flow analysis and risk management.
  • Strong understanding of brokerage, insurance products, business services, personal trust, and investment management.
  • Demonstrated skills in client portfolio management.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in data-driven decision-making.

U.S. Only: This role will originate consumer loans per applicable regulations. A background screening will be conducted.

Salary: $63,300.00 - $117,200.00

Pay Type: Salaried

The salary range indicates BMO Financial Group's expected compensation, which may include performance incentives.
