Description: You will be the Quality Inspector for our 2nd shift manufacturing team in Chelmsford, MA. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of electromechanical products, from components to finished assemblies, and we're looking for a detail-oriented inspector to join our ranks.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting products to ensure conformance to established standards, using a range of tools and equipment, including microscopes and test equipment. You will play a critical role in maintaining the high quality of our products and collaborating with engineering teams to resolve any non-conformances.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Inspecting components, housings, and finished assemblies for conformance to established work instructions, industry standards, and drawings

-Using low/high power microscopes, test equipment, and hand-held inspection tools to perform inspections

-Entering inspection results into QMS and MRP systems

-Working with engineering teams to report and detail non-conformances

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:

-Microscope visual inspection experience

-Minimum one year of inspection experience

-ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) training/awareness

-High School Diploma / GED

-Use of inspection hand tools

- Ability to follow work instructions and work effectively with others

- Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and must have the ability to obtain an interim secret clearance prior to starting, therefore must be a US Citizen.

- Availability to work Second Shift / 3:00pm - 1:30am / Monday-Thursday / Fridays off

Desired Skills:

-Prior defense industry experience

-SAP Quality Module experience

-AS9100 experience

-Mil-883, IPC-610, J-STD-001, Clean Room, And/Or FOD experience

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
