POSITION SUMMARY • Maintains cleanliness standards of the operating suites and operating area and any other areas in the department. Cleans up after catered meals to the operating room. Keep corriders clear from clutter and blockages. The technician will also provide assistance in transporting patients under nurse supervision and act as a courier to/from the lab department. Requires prolonged walking and standing, frequent bending and/or stooping. May involve lifting or positioning of patients. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. May be exposed to communicable diseases and bodily fluids. Requires ability to sustain concentration in a noisy and fast paced environment. Consistently keeps blanket warmer stocked.
