This is a part-time role, typically scheduled for 30 hours/week, still eligible for BMO's complete benefits package!

Join our dynamic team as a Customer Engagement Banker, where you will deliver outstanding service to BMO customers and prospects. Identify customer needs and provide tailored financial advice that truly serves their best interests. Work collaboratively within the branch and with BMO partners to create exceptional customer experiences and meet our business objectives.

• Welcome and assist customers entering the branch; guide them toward digital and self-service banking options.
• Engage in meaningful client conversations regarding banking services and offer personalized advice.
• Efficiently handle customer transactions and fulfill service requests.
• Review customer profiles to identify banking and credit card needs through a consultative approach.
• Support branch goals and enhance the customer experience.
• Assist with operational tasks including inventory management and customer application follow-ups.
• Collaborate as a vital member of our versatile branch team.
• Utilize marketing promotions in customer engagements to provide strategic advice.
• Organize work information for accuracy and detail.
• Innovate ways to personalize customer experiences and contribute to ongoing improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with the financial services landscape and uphold legal and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of personal banking products and industry trends.
• Identify and report suspicious activity related to money laundering.
• Uphold the Bank's asset protection policies and compliance with legal requirements.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience or certification in a related field.
• For Canada: Registration to sell investment products in progress or completed (must be done within 12 months).
• Proficient in using social media, tablets, smartphones, and online tools.
• Experience in consultative customer service or sales roles with a focus on personalized customer experiences.
• Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions.
• Strong desire to assist customers and enhance their experience.
• Results-driven with the ability to thrive in a team-based environment.
• Confident, resourceful self-starter eager to approach customers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
• Aptitude for active listening, problem-solving, and adapting to new challenges.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational and analytical skills.

Salary: $41,714.00 - $50,000.00

Pay Type: Salaried

The BMO Financial Group compensation package varies based on individual skills and experience. For part-time roles, salaries will be prorated. Additional commissions may apply based on performance.
